Installing IntelliJ

As the integrated development environment (IDE), we will use IntelliJ.

Versions:

• Community - free version for Java SDK development. This version is fully sufficient for an OOP course. Direct link

• Ultimate - commercial version. Includes additional support for web and enterprise applications. You can use it with your @onlineedu.tu-varna.bg accounts. Direct link

Requirements:

• 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows 10 or 8
• Minimum 2 GB RAM, 8 GB RAM recommended
• 2.5 GB hard disk space, SSD recommended
• Minimum screen resolution 1024x768

Follow the standard installation steps, making sure to associate .java files with IntelliJ.
